The Naulakha Temple, officially known as Divyadesha Mandir, is one of Buxar’s most revered Vaishnavite shrines. Believed to date back to the 11th century under King Rudra Deo, it is locally called Charitravan Baikunth and remains a major pilgrimage center.

Built in classical Dravidian style, the temple features a multi-tiered shikhara crowned by nine small spires, a square sanctum (garbhagriha), and a pillared mandapa. Intricate stucco reliefs and sculpted pillars narrate scenes from Vaishnava tradition.
